In January, 2019 the smartphone manufacturer of HTC announced start of the chat-bot for health sector. The service under the name LINE Bot uses a blockchain and is created together with the Taiwan Christian hospital in Changhua Christian Hospital.
According to the DigiTimes edition with reference to the president of medical business of HTC Edward Chang, LINE Bot it is developed for providing medical services using artificial intelligence. The corporate HTC DeepQ blockchain platform which is applied to providing the high level of information security was the basis for the solution.
The HTC DeepQ platform supporting the Nvidia DGZ systems and cloud infrastructure of Amazon Web Services (AWS) before began to be implemented in hospitals, helping doctors to make exact diagnoses and to perform surgeries by means of tools of virtual reality.
Thanks to a blockchain platform and LINE Bot the Christian hospital in Zhanghua will be able to provide additional services, including medical consultations with attraction of artificial intelligence, training of patients for treatment on the basis of polls and personal medical training, Chiang told.
According to him, careful polls by means of automated systems will help to improve interaction of patients with medical personnel and also to increase quality and efficiency of diagnostics and treatment. The service of personal training is directed to providing individual training materials and medical information after treatment.
Within HTC DeepQ it is also created "multilayer" a solution blockchain which solves a problem of confidentiality of the medical data used by different medical institutions, he added. This solution was developed together with the National Taiwan university and Stanford University.[1]
