Rostelecom organized smart lighting of streets in villages of the Achinsk district

On January 24, 2019 the Rostelecom company reported that it upgraded the system of street lighting in the village White yar, the village of Zertsaly, the settlements of Nagornovo and Bely yar the Achinsk district of Krasnoyarsk Krai. The technical solution implemented by the operator within the power service contract will cut down expenses of the Beloyarsk Village Council on illumination of streets on 73 percent.

According to the company, specialists of Rostelecom company replaced 178 old inefficient lamps on streets of the localities which are a part of the Beloyarsk Village Council. Energy saving LED lamps consume many times less electric power and more than five years can stretch work. Their light is pleasantly perceived by a human eye as it is identical with a range of solar.

At the expense of own means Rostelecom also updated 3 lantern support, mounted about 34 flights of lines of lighting and set 32 cabinets of accounting and system management in the automatic mode.

The payback of the project is performed at the expense of the means received from power saving. It is planned that within this contract it will make more than 387 thousand kilowatt-hours.
