The government of the Moscow region constructed VIDEOCONFERENCING network on the basis of TrueConf Server

On January 24, 2019 TrueConf reported that the Government of the Moscow region constructed the updated VIDEOCONFERENCING network on the basis of the domestic server of video conference TrueConf Server. The received system of communications integrated more than 30,000 employees of the different ministries, committees and managements of area. The solution provides with the protected video conference jobs of employees and meeting rooms and also allows to use VKS on mobile devices.

Work of the government of such scale means instant response to emergency situations on all area, holding daily numerous meetings and permanent remote consultation of employees. For solving of tasks of the organization the single system of communications was required and also modern conference equipment for equipment of numerous negotiation spaces.

The former VIDEOCONFERENCING system of the Government of the Moscow region on the basis of the foreign hardware solution did not meet requirements of the organization to flexible scaling and limited employees in the choice of the additional VIDEOCONFERENCING equipment that was contrary to the growing requirements of the Government. Such system reacted even to minor changes in network settings that required permanent administration and control by a team of specialists.

As the solution specialists of the organization unrolled in data processing center the Governments of the Moscow region two secure systems of TrueConf Server — the main and reserve. The solutions TrueConf integrated with the user service Active Directory in which more than 30,000 employees from all departments are registered. More than 150 conference rooms and meeting rooms of the organization equipped notebooks with client applications of TrueConf for OS Windows and Linux.

The implemented VIDEOCONFERENCING system allowed the staff of the organizations to participate in video conference sessions directly from the jobs after short training. On mobile devices of employees also unrolled client applications of TrueConf for OS Android and iOS that provided additional mobility and an opportunity to take full part in daily meetings out of conference rooms.

High resistance of TrueConf Server to network interruptions allowed to refuse permanent administration, and now one specialist copes with service of the server. At the same time the VIDEOCONFERENCING system of the organization allows to service all representatives of department both from meeting rooms, and from jobs and personal mobile devices of employees.
