2019: Start of the platform

In January, 2019 commercial start  of the platform "MTS Biddings" which the operator of mobile and fixed connection of MTS uses for trade in second-hand IT and telecommunication equipment took place. Also third-party sellers can trade on it, having paid the commission or having subscribed.

As the representative of MTS Alexey Merkutov told the Vedomosti newspaper, service works by the principle of an auction: during trading the price of lot can be reduced or increase. The company can help with determination of starting cost of a product.

MTS started the platform for sales of the second-hand IT and telecom equipment

The operator takes from the sellers using  MTS Biddings service, the commission which size is not specified. It is possible not to pay it, but then it is necessary to subscribe for 7 thousand rubles a month and to implement up to 200 lots on the platform. For 50  thousand rubles the seller can employ the personal manager. Also other services are offered.

According to Merkutov, "MTS biddings" steel for the company an additional source of income and the place where MTS and other "subsidiaries" of AFK "Sistema"  can sell the technology equipment which was in the use and other property without intermediaries. In 2018 during which passed test of the platform (during tests the fee from sellers was not charged), turnover on the platform made 600 million rubles. In 2019 growth to 1 billion rubles is expected. It is planned that on the companies which are not entering into AFK "Sistema" a half of revenue is necessary, Merkutov calculates.[1]

Among the third-party companies by the end of January, 2019 on the platform Rostelecom, VTB Leasing, "in M. Video Eldorado" and the Ural industrial company trade.

"MTS biddings" became one more new service of which in 2018 about 20% of revenue of MTS were the share, the vice president of the company  Vyacheslav Nikolaev said then, reminds the edition.
