MiTek: Management of communications of documents

On January 30, 2019 the MiTek company reported that it developed the technical solution for DIRECTUM − "Management of communications of documents".

According to the company, the product allows users of DIRECTUM to configure flexibly relationship types of documents, to differentiate on them access rights and to manage using a user-friendly interface.

About "Management of communications of documents" of the help it is possible to have opportunities of binding of documents in DIRECTUM.

Technical solution is presented in the form web kontrola. It is built in a card of the document or record of the reference book. Its existence adds such "options" to DIRECTUM as:

• management of relationship types of documents
• setup of access rights for relationship types taking into account the relative or absolute rights to objects (in other words, users can issue access rights on communication type correlatively to the rights of the document or configure access individually to the user or a user group)
• management of communications of documents taking into account the user's rights to documents and relationship types of documents.

Besides, the solution allows:

• add additional conditions for management of communications of documents in the corresponding events of change or removal of communication;
• group documents in communication types;
• perform filtering of documents in the list of the connected documents by the name.

The effect is notable for each participant of process. So, administrators had an opportunity to manage flexibly access rights on creation, change or removal of communications of documents. Applied developers had events of change and removal of communications of documents in which it is possible to consider additional conditions for management of communications of documents.
