2019: Emergence of function of voice actuation
On January 30, 2019 the Konica Minolta Healthcare company released update for the software of the portable ultrasonic Sonimage HS1 scanner thanks to which the device had a function of voice actuation.
The implemented technology is based on algorithms of artificial intelligence. Adding of this function will allow to manage the Sonimage HS1 scanner without hands — controlling system operation using voice commands, doctors will be able to hold in one hand the sensor, and in another — a needle or the syringe. Thus, the new feature should eliminate need for the medical assistant.
The sensing technology of a voice uses machine learning for data analysis about real interactions for the purpose of performance improvement and the accuracy of the device. Function of voice actuation allows the doctor to focus on the patient and the procedure that, according to developers, should improve results of a research and increase its diagnostic accuracy.
Besides, thanks to the updated software of Sonimage HS1 received a new option of the panoramic overview. It allows users to connect series of images in a uniform picture for the best understanding of anatomic features of the patient, providing direct transition from quantity to quality. The technology of panoramic visualization is designed to expand possibilities of clinical diagnostics and intervention procedures.
Also Sonimage HS1 received a new feature of optimization of images in one contact. The UltraAdjust tool allows to control several parameters at image generation, including a frequency kampaunding. Automatic change of parameters allows to receive the better and sharp image that should improve diagnostic opportunities of the equipment. The UltraAdjust tool can also be activated using function of voice actuation.[1]
