2019: Announcement

On February 4, 2019 the company "Rostec" announced that it " Ruselectronics" developed a complex multistage gas security system for apartment apartment houses. A system allows in real time on channels GSM and Wi-Fi to transfer information about a gas leak to a supervisory console and to automatically block a gas supply, preventing emergencies.

According to the company, the Almaz-Kontrol system developed by JSC NPP Almaz works by means of the modules GSM and Wi-fi. The GSM module transfers the SMS notification about a gas leak to three numbers set at the request of the owner. The Wi-Fi-module transfers data on leak to the central system control unit of control of gas contamination. At the same time the gas supply will be blocked automatically. Modules can work as separately, and as a part of a single multistage system of gas security.

A system with the GSM module for February, 2019 went on retail sale. The module Wi-fi is going to be displaid in sale in the II quarter 2019. Feature of a system are sensors based on defense technologies. The equipment can be integrated into the Smart home system.

For February, 2019 in Russia the gas equipment equips about 66% of housing stock, i.e. about 43 million apartments. According to rules of design of the gas systems in the apartment houses approved by Ministry of Construction in the middle of January, 2019, gas contamination control systems with auto disconnect of a gas supply should be installed in all apartment residential buildings at placement in them the gas-using equipment. Only in 2018 in Russia there were about 30 emergencies caused by use of the intra house gas equipment.
