City authorities Omsk use solar power for formation of the comfortable urban environment

In February, 2019 it became known that city authorities Omsk use solar power for formation of the comfortable urban environment.

Government employees of Omsk within implementation of the federal development project "Formation of the comfortable urban environment" were faced by a task to improve equipment of park zones and house adjoining territories, including to upgrade street lighting. Owing to technical features of the project to execute installation of the electric networks by air or underground it was not represented possible. The Omsk region is included into "belt" of regions with a high flow of sunlight. The decision on use of autonomous sources of alternative energy which will allow except a question of illumination domestic to the territory within the federal program, to lower finance costs and an adverse effect on region ecology was made.

The partner offered the general customer independent lamps – energy-saving technologies based on the joint solution of the company "Energon" and SIT.

In the project the following equipment was used:

• Delta SM 200-12 P solar panels.
• A special 12-volt series for lighting, an exclusive of DELTA SOLAR SERIES.
• Controller of a charge of DELTA MPPT 2420.
• The rechargeable battery with function of status monitoring and a possibility of recovery of capacity of DELTA GEL 12-100.
• LED lamp and mounting construction of production of SIT company.

In total in park zones and house adjoining territories of Omsk 162 pieces of autonomous towers of lighting which produce electricity from the sun were mounted.

The project was begun in September, 2018 and put in operation in November, 2018

This solution of city authorities is very justified. First, the Omsk region is included into "belt" of regions with a high flow of sunlight and application of solar power in the subject makes sense.
