2020: Start of sales of the cameras WV-U2140L, WV-U1532L and WV-U1132

On April 9, 2020 the Panasonic company announced the beginning of sales in Russia and the CIS countries 13 models of professional cameras of the initial level (U-series) for security systems and video surveillance at once. Six outdoor cameras and seven models for installation in the premises entered a series. Part of them is available to the order, the others are expected in the summer and fall of 2020.

Among models there are cameras with the fixed and motorized lens, with permission of Full HD and 4 Megapixels. All cameras are equipped with IK-illumination (except case models) and the slot for the microSD installation of the memory card.

According to the producer, the cameras U-series differ in the affordable price, simplicity of installation and convenience of operation. Their functionality allows to solve the majority of problems of video surveillance. At the same time cameras conform to the high quality standards of a lineup of i-PRO Extreme.

As noted in Panasonic, cameras support the H.265 codec and function of intellectual coding Smart Coding which significantly reduces bitrate, and, respectively, load of network decreases and the recording time increases. Besides, all cameras have corporate function of automatic adjustment of the image depending on type of a scene of Intelligent Auto (iA) and also the Super Dynamic function which expands dynamic range not only in day, but also in night-time when lighting of different type and non-constant.

As well as other cameras of Panasonic released after October, 2014 of the U-series model are completed with the license for connection to software of record and system management of video surveillance of Video Insight, emphasized in Panasonic. Using cameras of Panasonic and software of Video Insight, the user, according to the producer, not only saves due to lack of a payment for channels, but also receives stability, universality and lack of expenses on support and updating of a system.

The equipment for video surveillance systems of Panasonic is affected by an expanded 5-year guarantee if it was installed by the authorized company, noted in Panasonic.

2019: Start of production of the WV-S2131LRF/X6531NRF/S1132RF IP cameras in Russia

On February 11, 2019 the companies "Panasonic Russia" Merlion also officially started at capacities of the company iRU production IP- cameras Panasonic. At the initial stage it is going to produce three popular models of cameras here video surveillances, further the range can be expanded. Partners do not sound the amount of investments into the project, however emphasize that the line will be able to provide operational production under profile projects practically of any scale, reported TAdviser in Merlion. The number of the IP cameras intended for production in Russia included the following models: WV-S2131LRF (internal dome), WV-X6531NRF (street PTZ) and WV-S1132RF (case). As of February, 2019 cameras of this type are demanded most of all and provide up to 30% of sales of all cameras of the Japanese company in Russia. Their popularity is caused by existence of functions of artificial intelligence of iA (intelligent Auto) and the ROI system (the self-trained technology of coding) which is automatically detecting zones with moving people or vehicles, explained in "Panasonic Russia".

According to the producer, smart, self-training devices allow quickly, without operator intervention to provide a high image quality even in the conditions of poor visibility. On the width of dynamic range in 144 dB of the camera of Panasonic allow to find the balanced exposure at quickly changing illumination and a strong flare of a part of a frame. Use of i-Pro sensors guarantees activation of the mode of a colored night vision. The h.265 codec jointly from Smart Coding reduces load of the channel to 75% in comparison with the h.264 standard, simplifying storage and transfer of video data.
