Nebia — the startup founded in 2014 from Silicon Valley specializing in development of the economic cheap systems. Part in product development of Nebia was taken by the former engineers of NASA, Tesla and Apple.
History
2019: Investments from Tim Cook and Eric Schmidt
In February, 2019 it became known that the CEO of Apple Tim Cook and the former head of Google Eric Schmidt invested in Nebia startup. Thanks to money from these and other investors the company released a commercial product and began to update it.
Nebia sells a shower of Spa Shower which sprays water on millions of microscopic drops, thanks to what the area of washing increases by 10 times in comparison with a normal shower, and water consumption decreases by 65%.
By February, 2019 Nebia devices helped users to save in total more than 450 million liters of water, and in two years is going to bring this indicator to 4.5 billion liters.
During operation the shower system of the person the wall of water which tones up literally covers and easily washes away shampoo or shower gel. Considering the cost of utilities in the USA, and in particular waters, Nebia gives significant economy in means, even taking into account need of use of filters. Pi it such shower can be set on already available seat in the bathroom: it is enough to fasten stationary and removable watering cans.
The company submitted the second version of a what shower which made the sprayed water for 29% after receipt of complaints from users. Nebia Spa Shower 2.0 creates feeling of bigger pressure that also disturbed many people. The water pressure in the new version was decided to be increased.
The Nebia Spa Shower 2.0 model is created in opaque black and silvery coloring and costs $500 that is $150 less in comparison with the previous version. The product can be ordered, however deliveries will begin in June, 2019.[1]
