On February 14, 2019 the Orange Business Services company reported that it signed the 5-year contract with Weener Plastics within which the company will implement SD-WAN software-defined networks in 24 branches of the supplier in Europe, Asia and Latin America, having increased flexibility and having improved internal communications.

According to the company, Weener Plastics offers clients both standard, and individual technological packaging solutions. Considerably having increased due to a series of absorption, the company needed the managed solution which would provide access to cloud applicaions, including ERP and Office 365, and allowed employees to be engaged in the main production objectives.

The solution Orange Business Services was selected in connection with vast experience of provider in deployment of software-defined networks for the companies worldwide.
