1000 textbooks "Alphabet of the Internet" are transferred to Pochet fund for training of pensioners of the Russian Railway

On February 21, 2019 Rostelecom reported that together with Pochet charitable foundation begin training of veterans of the Russian Railway of computer literacy in the Alphabet of the Internet program.

1000 textbooks "Alphabet of the Internet" are intended for training of pensioners railroad workers of computer literacy in 20 regions of the Russian Federation.

The CEO of Pochet fund Boris Kalatin noted relevance of socialization of people of the senior generation during a digital era. The staff of fund uses the serious efforts for the organization of the educational classes equipped with computers and Internet access will see off a set of groups and provides compensation of teachers.

The first groups are already gathered in St. Petersburg, Yekaterinburg and Irkutsk and will soon start occupations.

Rostelecom provides visitors of classes with manuals and methodical materials, updates earlier developed materials, implements educational modules and supports the website azbukainterneta.ru. The main textbook "Alphabet of the Internet", methodical materials for teachers, add-on modules of an expanded rate for advanced users and the other information used for the organization of training of pensioners is posted on the website in electronic form.

The training benefit and the Internet portal "Alphabet of the Internet" are developed within cooperation of PJSC Rostelecom with the Pension Fund of the Russian Federation. The cooperation purpose — simplification of access for pensioners to receiving public services in electronic form and quality improvement of life.
