2019: Integration with VisionLabs Luna

On February 21, 2019 in in Skolkovo Foundation reported that residents IT cluster Fonda - the companies timebook also VisionLabs signed the strategic agreement. As a result of partnership the platform on to face recognition LUNA from VisionLabs will add the flagship product of timebook intended for complex personnel managements retail networks.

Within strategic alliance of timebook and VisionLabs company will work jointly on improvement of the product timebook workforce management intended for integrated management of an inside and outside personnel of retail. The LUNA platform — the solution VisionLabs developed using technologies of computer vision and machine learning for exact verification and identification of persons — will become biometric "core" of one of complete sets of the timebook workforce management system.

As developers noted, retail company often incur serious losses because of violations of labor discipline: emergence of "dead souls", absence from work or delay which are not fixed in any way and does not give in to control in the manual mode. It is connected with the fact that number of staff in retail chain stores can vary from several tens to hundreds of thousands of people. It complicates control of work of each specific employee. Also managers of networks should trace and control regularly work of external contractors – outsourcing or merchandayzingovy firms.

According to developers, the automatic time recording of employees in trading floors and warehouse workers by means of biometric identification of personnel will allow to optimize HR processes and to reduce costs of the retail companies for a fraud. Use of the LUNA platform will help clients of timebook to get rid from the sphere of retail of fraudulent activity from personnel.

The feature of the LUNA platform from VisionLabs consists in use of neural network technologies. Smart algorithms allow the platform to distinguish a human face for fractions of a second, comparing its instant photo to base from thousands of pictures of employees, emphasized in timebook.

According to the statement of the developer, in timebook workforce management seamless integration of LUNA with basic system modules is also adjusted: in particular, tools of time keeping of employees and analytical software based on artificial intelligence for autoplanning and drawing up diagrams of changes. It allows not only to confirm the fact of presence of each employee in a workplace, but also to create for it the optimal diagram, to monitor accomplishment of the plan and the number of processings – and already in connection therewith precisely to calculate amount of remuneration.
