2019: Principle of work and availability of the platform
On February 21, 2019 the HID Global company announced availability of the cloud platform of HID Origo opening opportunities for partners in creation of a working space on the basis of infrastructure of access control of HID. The platform combines HID technologies for mobile identifiers (and in the future – service for position fix of employees) with the extending architecture of access control, integrating physical security and a broad spectrum of applications, services and opportunities of use of IoT-devices using a unified cloud environment, emphasized in HID Global.

According to the developer, the platform represents the innovation model on the basis of applications offering a broad set of integration tools, supports, tools for developers and also the services simplifying for partners and the growing community of new developers and resellers process of an output to the market of solutions of access control. Instead of solution development for one client or an object, HID Origo will allow to develop applications and integrated solutions for the complete base HID consisting of millions of devices and control systems of access at once.
Principle of work of HID Origo
According to the statement of the developer, the HID Origo platform allows to build in cloud connections and functionality of IoT-devices as expansions of applications mobile devices, readers and HID controllers. Also direct hardware access via the HID Origo API interfaces and a software developer kit (SDK) which are already checked using the solution of mobile access of HID is provided to developers.
The platform allows to use analytics of data, including for configuring of the remote reader, system maintenance of intellectual access control and detection of intentions for more convenient and personalized work in a workplace, noted in HID Global.
For February, 2019 the platform provides services in a subscription, and clients can already use it.
