On February 26, 2019 TerraLink reported that it upgraded a corporate system of telephony at the central office of Slavneft company. Within the project the digital platform for unified communications was implemented, migration from old automatic telephone exchange with preserving of the operating number of rooms and integration with the child organizations is executed.
The implementation project of the digital UC platform (Unified Communications) passed in several stages. As a basis for implementation solutions were selected AudioCodes Cisco, Yeastar and Asterisk.
At the first stage specialists of TerraLink unrolled the pilot version of a hardware and software system, connection of test group of subscribers is executed and test operation is carried out. Then on the implemented platform changed external telephone lines and communication channels with subsidiary companies.
The operating automatic telephone exchange of Nortel was also integrated into a system for the subsequent gradual transfer of subscribers to the updated platform of unified communications. The period of unavailability of service did not exceed 60 minutes.
Implementation of a modern system of unified communications at office "Slavneft" allowed to provide the staff of the company with all modern instruments of digital communication, including interception of calls, group calls, readdressing on mobile devices, voice mail and integration into the platform of a video conferencing. As a result the company received the reliable and scalable environment of communication with clear architecture and opportunities of expansion of functionality under further requirements".
