Hisense A5

In October, 2019 the Chinese producer of electronics Hisense provided the A5 smartphone which received the black-and-white display on the basis of technology of "electronic ink". The similar screen could be met in the YotaPhone phones developed by the Russian company Yota Devices.

The display in Hisense A5 has the 5.84-inch diagonal and resolution capability   1440 x 720 pixels. The text on it is well visible even on a bright sun, and for reading in the premises or darkness the built-in regulated illumination with  2048  degrees of brightness is provided.  It is better to activate it only at dim light because such displays  do not radiate light, and  only reflect it  by analogy with  paper books.

In many respects thanks to the economic monochrome screen Hisense A5 developers achieved long work of a tube without recharge — up to 10 days in the mode of normal operation. At the same time the capacity of the rechargeable battery not the biggest to modern measures — 4000 mAh.

Hisense A5 is completed with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 439 processor, 4 Gbytes of RAM, the built-in flash drive on 32 or 64 Gbytes.

The producer pays attention to presence of the audiochip Hi-fi ES9318 thanks to which users can listen to music in high quality. The main digital camera is characterized by a 13-megapixel array, and frontal — 5-megapixel.

As it is about the device created for reading e-books it is delivered with a number of the corresponding functions. For example, Hisense A5 supports reading in one click through the Mozhi application. The read mode "Is also provided not disturb".

The cost of the smartphone is known: the version from 32 Gbytes of memory will cost approximately $170, and modification with twice more capacious drive received the price label in $215.^[1]

Hisense A6

On February 25, 2019 the company Hisense provided smartphone A6 integrating in itself functionality and performance thanks to the double screen and to the processor Qualcomm Snapdragon.

A6 model is equipped with two screens. The frontal screen has the diagonal of 6.01 inches, permission of Full HD and is executed on AMOLED technology. The back screen got the diagonal of 5.61 inches, permission of HD and is executed on E-Ink technology.

According to the producer, the E-Ink technology used in the rear screen in the automatic mode changes the brightness level for more comfortable reading in the conditions of insufficient illumination. The low level of radiation of blue color protects eyes from fatigue during long reading. Besides, the screen consumes less energy for more progressive tense of operation of the smartphone. Brightness is automatically regulated on the touch screen. The E-Ink screen of the A6 smartphone displays the image/text due to reflection of light from the built-in light source via the light diffuser.

The A6 smartphone is equipped with the front camera with the resolution of 16 Megapixels and the rear camera with the resolution of 12 Megapixels. In the camera the Samsung 2PD sensor with the resolution of 12 Megapixels which has two light modules for each pixel that allows to increase resolution to 24 Megapixels is used, noted in Hisense.

The model supports function of remote control through infrared port and for WiFi technology. Also, the smartphone can work in LTE 4G networks.
