2018: Growth of market size by 10% to 5.4 billion rubles

In 2018 in Russia 4.3 million external accumulators for the total amount of 5.4 billion rubles were sold. With TAdviser shared such data on February 26, 2019 in the united company "Svyaznoy Euroset". Growth in piece expression in comparison with 2017 was 8%, in monetary — 10%. At the same time the average cost of the external accumulator remained at the level of 2017 and was 1250 rubles.

The market leader by the number of sales of portable chargers in 2018 was the Chinese company Xiaomi which moved about 2 places having increased the share in the market from 5.5% to 13.6%. The Gerffins company from market shares of 10.6% was at the second place. The three is closed by Canyon — 8%. In terms of money the leader is also Xiaomi occupying 19% of the market.

We see that gradually there is a redistribution of buyers towards more expensive devices which differ in modern design and quality of assembly. So, for 2018 the share of devices worth up to 1100 rubles decreased by 3 items and made 52%. It should be noted that with development of a technological component of smartphones, also their energy consumption grows. It also stimulates the main demand for portable accumulators — the vice president for sales to Svyaznoy Euroset consolidated company David Borzilov commented on a situation in the market.
