Availability to the order of MKL-112

On February 27, 2019 the Octava company reported that the lamp Octava microphone is available to MKL-112 to the order. According to the company, the presentation of the professional lamp Octava microphone of MKL-112 took place in the spring of 2018.

MKL-112 — the representative of a segment of a line of professional Octavas microphones. The Shirokomembranny condenser microphone in the metal body with the lamp preamplifier — upgrade of the MKL-5000 microphone recognized by experts of sound recording. Development differs from the previous model in a variety of characteristics of orientation.

The condenser cap consists of two membranes with gold backing, the microphone preamplifier is executed on a radio tube, and the switch of characteristics of orientation is transferred from the body where it was located in MKL-5000, on the power supply. Using function of switching it is possible to change smoothly characteristic of orientation of the microphone to "circle", "cardioid" or "eight" that allows to use the same microphone during the work both with soloists, and with chorus. Thanks to feature of switching, it is possible to receive intermediate characteristics of orientation that is available to owners of this model from a line of professional Octava microphones.

The microphone, the power supply, the shock-absorber, cable and the operation manual are included in the delivery. The microphone is packed into a case from natural wood. The recommended scopes — professional studio recording of the speech and a vocal. The equipment also perfectly copes with record of tools.

Start of sales of MKL-112 microphones
