2019: Start of shop

On March 5, 2019 Honeywell announced start of shop of corporate applications. In Honeywell Marketplace programs both from the producer, and from third-party developers will be placed.

As told the ZDNet edition the director of program innovations of Honeywell Lori Haggart, the company is known as equipment manufacturer, like mobile computers, however it did not prevent it to start a marketplace to propose to clients multifunction solutions.

We understood that only one hardware will not provide to customers of so complex offer. This marketplace gives us the platform for this purpose and does of Honeywell of the leader of this area — said Haggart, having added that in the market of industrial software where the company works, the similar shop was not yet.

For launch in Honeywell Marketplace well to 30 applications of Honeywell (among them — Voice Maintenance & Inspection) and about 50 applications from the third-party companies. The products placed on the digital platform are focused on use in such spheres as health care, production, retail, logistics and transport.

By words Haggart, the company expects emergence of hundreds of applications in shop until the end of 2019. Producers can place the solutions after passing of process of testing and check on cyber security. Programs can be addressed to the equipment both Honeywell, and third-party vendors.

Users can look for software in Honeywell Marketplace, filtering it on a scope, the producer, the operating system or other parameters. Loading of demoversions and viewing screenshots is possible. The platform completely undertakes payment processes of products and transfer of revenue to developers.^[1]
