On March 6, 2019 Prof-IT reported that it within preproject inspection began creation of a simulation model of section of a flow line of pipe-rolling workshop of Pervouralsky Novotrubny Works (PNTZ). The created image will allow to make the analysis of the current performance indicators, to reveal bottlenecks and to develop measures for performance improvement with the forecast to 20%.
Due to growth of orders and expansion of the market of deliveries Pervouralsky Novotrubny Works needed different ways of increase in efficiency. Creation of the digital double will allow to lose different options of the organization of transactions and materialopotok in workshop.
Preproject examination is conducted jointly with specialists of PROF‑IT GROUP, calculations of the digital double will include the analysis of the current indicators of work of workshop, creation of model and simulation of production with visualization in 2D and 3D - formats. Identification of bottlenecks with the subsequent recommendations about their elimination will become result of development of model. Collected data of a simulation model will be allowed the customer to obtain justification of expediency of implementation of projects on automation and reconstruction of production.
Digital modeling helps to plan changes and to be sure of correctness of the solutions. It is especially relevant if it is about big investments. The digital double contains simulation of resources of section of a flow line of workshop and logic of internal digital and continuous processes of the enterprise. At the same time modeling means fixing of actual data about production and their subsequent use for check of simulations – thus, the staff of PNTZ will be able to select optimal variants of the organization of processes of control and unloading of products, in particular, of transactions on sections of inspection tables, unloading cranes and cutting machines.
