2019: Representation of Cisco Validated Design (CVD)
On March 12, 2019 the Hitachi Vantara company reported that it together with Cisco company issued adaptive solutions for convergent infrastructures. The Cisco Validated Design (CVD) project combines technologies of both companies - storage systems of Hitachi and also computing and network Cisco technologies.
Solutions are created especially for the partners aiming to meet demand for the certified convergent infrastructures of Hitachi and Cisco. Such infrastructures are capable to support multi-purpose loadings of applications of the corporate level. They allow to create the flexible solutions with high operational efficiency providing permanent data availability and observance of agreements on the service level (SLA). Support of these solutions will be performed by both Cisco, and Hitachi.
The simplified and optimized configurations of the solutions Hitachi VSP PRO are involved in the project. They help to implement quickly and easily the small, average and big systems using the automated model of sales with self-service which reduces process from several hours to minutes.
