Novosoft expands ASOMI functionality for Severstal

2023: ASOMI Functionality Expansion

On April 19, 2023, Novosoft Razvitye announced that it had expanded the functionality of the ASOMI software product version for Severstal.

As part of the agreement, at the first stage, the program was installed, put into operation and adjusted during the test period of operation in accordance with the characteristics of the customer's technologies. After making changes, trainings and training of specialists of the mining and metallurgical company on various operations in the system were carried out. At the end, the data generated during the work of Severstal divisions before the implementation of ASOMI was imported.

Novosoft specialists are constantly improving and expanding the software tools for automating the work of metrology services for the needs of customer companies. The ASOMI version for Severstal, at the request of the customer, was equipped with the functionality to provide and upload reports to the ARSHIN FSIS. In addition, the software from Novosoft has the opportunity to distribute access to prepare information for unloading into the state system of measuring instruments, taking into account the roles of performers. Additionally, a reference book on the types of measuring instruments was established in accordance with the current Russian state register of MI. The list of characteristics of metrologists activities required for entering into the ASOMI system and parameters of measuring equipment has been increased. As a result of the changes, Severstal has been able to automatically complete and unload into the ARSHIN system.

2019: Agreement on the Phased Implementation of the ASOMI Metrological Automation Program

On March 11, 2019, Novosoft announced that in January 2019, Novosoft Razvitye LLC and PAO Severstal signed an agreement on the phased implementation of the ASOMI metrological automation program at the enterprise owned by PAO Severstal. The functions of this program are automation, information support and control of all types of metrological activities at the enterprise, which leads to a decrease in costs during the operation of equipment, simplification of decision-making related to metrological work, as well as elimination of overlays and planning errors.

ASOMI software (software) will be gradually integrated into the business processes of the metrological department of Severstal, solving the following urgent tasks:

• Automation of checks and calibrations of measuring equipment (MI)
• Generation of maintenance and repair schedules (MR)
• Easier creation and maintenance of work orders for various activities
• Control of consumables, spare parts and accessories for MI
• Creation of reports on the activities of the metrological service at the enterprise

As of March 11, 2019, ASOMI software is at the pilot stage of implementation at the enterprise, consisting of the following steps:

• Adaptation of ASOMI functions and capabilities to specific customer requirements
• Implementation of the ASOMI program at the level of individual structures of PAO Severstal
• Training of the enterprise personnel to work with ASOMI, demonstration of the system capabilities
• Import existing MI data from other software
