2019: Creation of the IoT-platform for energy management

On March 13, 2019 it became known that the companies Dell EMC, Vodafone and Utilitywise (the British consulting the company in the field of utilities) announced cooperation with the creation purpose IoT- platforms for energy management. Development will allow to change cardinally methods of operation of buildings and use of energy by the enterprises.

Energy management

Using the single integrated interface of the platform of the company will be able to estimate energy costs for lighting, heating and ventilation in the building or a complex of constructions. It considerably simplifies identification of cases of irrational expenditure of energy and allows to react and save money of owners of buildings quickly. Thanks to instant access and an opportunity to analyze all amount of data, the enterprises receive the high level of control over use of utility resources. The Dell EMC, Vodafone and Utilitywise platform with remote control is tested by a number of the British retailers, and in certain cases operating costs managed to be cut down for 20%, and the investment payback (ROI) made less than 12 months.

The Dell EMC, Vodafone and Utilitywise platform is the development proposing to customers the solution for complex economy: now they spend less energy, forces and financial resources. Software, entering our joint solution, allows to save also on purchases of expensive licenses for software – it means additional financial performance of the solution for the companies clients.

Thanks to this combination we can cut down expenses on energy consumption for thousands of the companies, having integrated the infrastructure solutions Dell EMC for management of buildings, modern connectivities of Vodafone and expanded means of data collection and analytics from Utilitywise. Similar partnership opens ways of use of technologies of Internet of Things.
