Smarts PDU RPCM implemented in the smart home

On March 20, 2019 the RCNTEC company reported that Circuit implemented Smart PDU RPCM in the system of the smart home in private households.

According to the company, Smarts PDU RPCM 16A are integrated under the REST API protocol into management systems for the smart home based on Crestron and KNX. Implementation of Smart PDU RPCM allows Kontur Group to exercise far off control and system management of power supply of the equipment in private households and to quickly resolve any issues connected with power supply of the equipment of the smart home.

For us basic function of RPCM is remote control on a power supply by devices, inclined to hangup. For example, receivers of satellite television and some other multimedia sources. Smart PDU RPCM in the system of the smart house allows to exercise far off control and to manage a power supply system of the building and adjacent territories via the web interface, mobile application or, thanks to integration into any existing management system for the smart home, under the REST API or SNMP protocols. RPCM Smart PDU prevents development of fire-dangerous situations, protects from short circuit, defines existence of correctly connected grounding and prevents shutdown of power supply on the equipment with one power supply thanks to automatic switching to the stand-by power supply (transfer switch). Thanks to exposure of priorities of "survival" of Smart PDU RPCM prevents shutdown of all equipment at total exceeding of current.
