On March 26, 2019 ITProject reported that its RFID solution manages storage and shipment of rolls of packaging cardboard to Aleksinskaya BKF LLC, located in the city of Aleksin of Tula region.
Due to growth of production volume, the enterprise was faced the need of more exact and operational management of movement and shipment of finished goods. In search of the solution meeting requirements of production, specialists of the company thought of use of RFID technology which allows to perform contactless identification of objects, and addressed to Aytiproyekt company.
Having analyzed production and logistic processes at factory, specialists Aytiproyekt proposed the solution based on a software platform of ITProject RFID Platform and the UHF RFID equipment.
For ensuring automatic tracking of movement of finished goods, paper plugs on which cardboard is reeled up are marked by UHF RFID tags of SMARTRAC FROG 3D, insensitive to orientation in the field of the antenna and with a range of reading from 7 to 14 meters. In a tag the prefix of the enterprise and individual number of a roll which becomes attached to entry in the database which is stored in the ERP system registers. On entrance and departure to the warehouse the stationary readers Impinj and Zebra with ITP-10RHCP antennas are installed. Connection to the RFID equipment and data transmission in a system of accounting of the customer are provided by a system core - ITProject RFID Server. Control of movement of paper rolls is exercised using the module ITProject RFID Tracking System. The ITProject RFID Mobile Logistic mobile solution is used for identification, search and a finished goods inventory in a warehouse with the help of the manual RFID reader Zebra MC3190-Z.
When the auto-loader with the set rolls of cardboard, ready for it, drive on slad, information written in tags automatically is read out and transferred to the ERP system of 1C which notes that these products were placed in a warehouse. When moving ready rolls for loading in railway cars or motor vans at the time of passing of exit gate the tag is read out once again, and a system automatically fixes shipment of products.
Deployment and start in operation of a RFID system on Alekseevsky BKF took two months.
