2017: Implementation of an automated sales and inventory planning system
About Customer
HATBER-M (founded in 1996) is the largest Russian manufacturer of goods for schoolchildren: notebooks, albums, diaries, notebooks, backpacks and bags, stationery. The assortment of the company's own products is more than 7,000 items, and the annual turnover exceeds 18 thousand tons. The company supplies products throughout Russia. Strategic clients of the company are Russian Post, Magnit, Auchan, X5 Retail Group, Detsky Mir, Fix Price, METRO and other federal retail chains.
About the project
In 2016, in order to improve the management of production and sales cycles, it was decided to implement an automated system for planning sales and inventories. HATBER-M eventually chose Novo Forecast Enterprise product from Novo BI.
We were looking for a powerful forecasting solution that could integrate this technology into the company's production processes. A significant share of our products have a limited life cycle, for example, calendars. Traditional forecasting methods are not good here. The functionality of Novo Forecast Enterprise, which automatically creates forecasting groups to improve forecast accuracy at the SKU level, perfectly suited our needs.
