RemoteMyApp selected IBM Cloud for the Vortex gaming platform

21marta 2019goda the IBM company announced that the Polish startup of RemoteMyApp will use IBM Cloud for global expansion and scaling of the Vortex gaming platform.

Users of Vortex can play in every spot on the globe and practically on any device   — on the smartphone, the tablet, the smart TV. A game at the same time does not need to be set: for an input the special application is used. With growth of popularity of the platform there was a need to scale Vortex, the systems of updating of the platform and its function that it could meet the increasing expectations of players. The choice fell on IBM Cloud as this solution will provide global expansion of the platform, guaranteeing at the same time the low level of a delay in games regardless of the number of users and type of the device.

Thanks to IBM Cloud the Vortex platform will provide high computing powers using graphic processors. Relying on the powerful servers placed almost in 60tsodakh by IBM in the different countries of the world, Vortex will be able to service any number of players from all continents without decrease in efficiency and quality of work of services and also at the minimum delays during the game. The library of games will be placed in a cloud, and thanks to it it will be possible to play them even on devices of former generations as all processing, including diagrams, will happen in a cloud, claim in IBM.

Recently online games are even more often transferred to cloud services, and to that there are two basic reasons: permanent increase in number of players and growth of popularity of mobile devices. Vortex   — one more of a set of the platforms which passed to IBM Cloud. The choice is explained by the fact that IBM Cloud supports global scaling of platforms and allows to establish quickly updates that, is undoubted, important in the conditions of the high competition in the market of online games.
