2019: Entry into the Russian market of contactors of DILMT

On April 8, 2019 the Eaton company announced entry into the Russian market of contactors of DILMT.

According to the company, contactors of DILMT are applied both to start of engines with a power of 45 kW, and to management of industrial loadings, and in combination with the relay of an overload of ZBT — to switching and protection of asynchronous engines.

Contactors of four standard sizes with a width of 27 mm, 36 mm, 55 mm and 72 mm are a part of the DILMT series. They allow installation both on a DIN rail, and on the mounting plate. The compact sizes allow to use smaller dimensions of control cabinets that reduces project cost and allows to reduce solution dimensions.

Contactors are expected rated current in the range from 5 A up to 95 A. At the same time in each standard size there are products managed by tension variable (230 V, 50 Hz and 240 V, 60 Hz) and permanent (24 V) current. Devices of the DILMT series are undemanding to environmental conditions and parameters of a supply line. Working temperature is in limits between -25 °C and 55 °C. The voltage tolerance of management makes 0.85 — 1.1 Uc. At the same time products have an operation life: 10 million mechanical and 1 million electric kommutation. The dignity of contactors of the DILMT series — the big nomenclature of additional accessories. Their number includes the auxiliary contacts of frontal and side mounting (contact module 1 or 2) limiting overvoltage supressor, mechanical blocking and the relay of an overload of ZBT.

ZBT relays are issued for each standard size. In addition to protection against an overload to 97 A, devices will secure the equipment against loss of a phase, and have a possibility of temperature compensation. They are equipped with the indicator of signaling of operation and the button of manual reset supplementing similar automatic function. The special test mode will allow to be convinced of operability of the device.

The nomenclature of devices also includes the DILAT relays used for switching of control circuits.

Thanks to compactness contactors of DILMT demand 40% less space, than their analogs that allows to set, for example, 5 contactors of DILMT instead of 3 similar contactors on the same square, allowing to save on control cabinet cost, selecting the smaller size for the same application.
