AOC U-series Monitors

2020: AOC U32U1 (support of HDMI 2.0, USB 3.2, covering of 98% of DCI-P3 color space)

On July 21, 2020 the AOC company provided U32U1 — 31.5-inch (80 cm) the monitor. The model combines the design created by the Studio F agency. A. Porsche, and AOC technologies.

AOC note that as people reinterpret the relation to work and private life, all of them call into question strict product differentiation for professional and household use more often. This trend is reflected in U32U1 model. The design of the device relies on trends of classical design of furniture. The device has the thin screen without framework from four parties, with a possibility of turn and an inclination, located on a brilliant metal support which it is possible to regulate on height to 120 mm. The aluminum panel behind the monitor with the rounded-off corners in which connectors for cables are located contrasts with a dark gray flat back cover. The functional solution is here that the panel saves the provision at turn of the display in the portrait mode thanks to what and cables remain on the place. For bigger flexibility the monitor is equipped with fastening of VESA which allows to fix it on a rack or on a wall.

The IPS display with diagonal 31.5 inches (80 cm) has permission 4K/UHD (3840x2160 pixels). Thanks to compliance to the VESA Display HDR600 standard, the screen provides the 10-bit depth of color and displays 1.07 billion colors. The monitor provides high picture contrast. Color range varies from luminescent white to deep black. The display covers 135% of the sRGB color space, 100% of the AdobeRGB color space and 98% of DCI-P3 color space that does it by the optimal choice for professionals and fans of the sphere of creation of video and the photo and also for designers, claim in AOC.

In addition to the DisplayPort 1.4 connector, the monitor is equipped with HDMI 2.0 and USB-C ports and also the hub USB 3.2. On June 27, 2019 the AOC company announced expansion of a line 90 Series. 27-inch (68.6 cm) the U2790PQU monitor with the resolution of 4K (3840x2160) and with a density of 163 pixels per inch allows to receive the image of high definition. The U2790PQU model is equipped with an IPS panel with a 10-bit depth of color which provides display 1.07 billion colors and smoothness of transition between them. Technical characteristics and also an ergonomic support with adjustment of height and function of reduction of a blue luminescence, do the device by the optimal choice for professionals and prosumers, claim in AOC.

According to the producer, the U2790PQU monitor will suit creators of content, video editors, digital-artists and also people who work with the tables of Excel and other applications saturated with information. Clearness and high detailing thanks to permission 4K and also the accuracy of a color rendition and 10-bit depth of color of the U2790PQU IPS panel will be suitable for work of professionals in these areas.

As noted in AOC, all AOC 90 Series monitors are delivered with silvery and metal finishing. U2790PQU continues this trend. Diagonal of a panel of 27 inches (68.6 cm) in combination with almost frameless construction provides the big area of the screen, at the same time the monitor saves compactness and does not require a lot of space on a table.
