On April 10, 2019 it became known that the Russian private space holding ADA Aerospace by request of the Armenian company Pro MAQ will deliver to Armenia unmanned aerial vehicles — convertiplanes of the TRIADA project of the MK series. Delivery will be performed in two stages and will come to the end by 2020. Total amount of the transaction — $4.5 million.
The first batch of the devices TRIADA MK II will be delivered for the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Armenia in 2019. The second batch of TRIADA MK III UAVs will arrive until the end of 2020. All ADA Aerospace will deliver to the Armenian partners several tens of devices. They will be applied in such key industries as agriculture, forest conservation and reservoirs, the notification about wildfires, processing of fields by means of protecting of plants, search and rescue, first-aid treatment, cargo delivery and monitoring. All deliveries are performed on the terms of complete prepayment.
The convertiplane of the TRIADA project combines possibilities of the airplane and the helicopter. Thanks to good aerodynamics in the plane mode the drone flies horizontally with high energy efficiency, and upon transition to the helicopter mode due to turn of propeller groups can hang up over a point, maneuver at low speeds and vertically move. The UAV is capable to gather speed to 200 km/h, to be in flight till 5 o'clock and to overcome distance to 400 km, to lift a load to 15 kg, claim in ADA Aerospace.
