2019: Representation of technology of creation of communication networks for the guaranteed data transmission in extreme conditions

On April 10, 2019 Rostec announced creation of technology of creation of communication networks by Ruselectronics holding for the guaranteed data transmission in extreme conditions. It can be applied at power shortage, a poor signal, existence of noises and also in zones with adverse climate, for example, on Far North.

The technology provides a high probability of delivery of messages at the expense of a possibility of intermediate storage of messages in nodes until the necessary channel becomes more active. At the same time the architecture of network steady against delays can use any available network resources and communication channels, including channels with very low capacity – from 0.01 bits / c.

The communication networks steady against gaps and delays are relevant at creation of automated control systems for troops. They allow to achieve the guaranteed delivery of the message to the receiver in cases when because of extreme conditions it is impossible to use traditional communications protocols. Also our development can be applied to civil needs: where is absent or telecommunication infrastructure, in the conditions of deficit of means of communication and sources of power supply, for example, on Far North is not developed", – told in the device of a radio-electronic cluster of State Corporation Rostec.

Segments of such network can be constructed using the "wandering" routers. They can be set, for example, in cars, on submarines or spacecrafts with low earth orbits, i.e. on objects which alternately are in a zone of reach of ground stations.

The technology is developed by specialists CENTRAL RESEARCH INSTITUTE OF EISU of JSC " (enters in Ruselectronics of State Corporation Rostec). For April, 2019 devices of subscriber access and nodal elements (routers) for creation of networks which are applications for computers under management are created operating system Linux.
