2019: Implementation of EnJet in the solutions "point-to-point" and "point multipoint"

On April 11, 2019 the EnGenius company reported that it implements EnJet technology in the solutions "point-to-point" and "point multipoint". The technology is based on time-division multiple access (TDMA) and excludes the conflicts of the hidden nodes and maximizes efficiency of use of broadcasting time. The EnJet technology is suitable for high-performance networks in the open air.

According to the company when the access point (AP) using technology of multiple access carrier sense (CSMA) transfer data, they need time to guarantee that the data stream will not be interrupted with the conflict with other TD. It leads to connection delays in network. In process of growth of a covering of network these delays increase. And if transfer data to networks of several TD at the same time, then the delay increases even more as TD should check again and again whether there will be no conflict.

The EnJet technology is under construction based on the patented TDMA technology allowing to avoid the conflicts between TD in network and by that to increase the speed and efficiency. TDMA distributes signals from each access point in time frames (timeslots) and plans for them transmission time of data. And EnJet technology provide coordination of a transmission order of data from several sources for achievement of higher speeds due to reduction of the time delay arising at detection of the conflicts.

The EnJet technology is the solution for networks with a big covering optimized for installations in the open air — in them EnJet saves capacity. In street access points of EnGenius this technology is applied along with 11ac Wave 2 and protection of IP55 level to reliability assurance in severe weather conditions. The EnWiFi application will convenient means of centralized operation and control which can be used by installers for easy deployment out of the premises. It allows configuration changes, monitoring, updating of a firmware and also to configure backup for groups of devices in network quickly and conveniently.

The EnJet technology will be implemented in the solutions EnGenius "tochka-tochka" and "tochka-mnogotochka", including ENS500EXT-AC, ENS500-AC, EnStation5-AC, EnStationAC and ENH500.
