Prerequisites
Before start of the project a corporate information system of JSC Petrostal Steel Works was the automated workplace system. About 150 users worked in this system.
The automated workplace had a number of functional restrictions in the field of management accounting as there was no end-to-end dependence of one repartition on another that significantly complicated conducting full managerial and regulated accounting. More than 10 years a system was not updated that caused the whole complex of problems on support of functionality.
On preproject inspection a number of alternative solutions on the 1C Platform, such as were considered: 1C: Enterprise Accounting 8, 1C: Manufacturing Enterprise Management 8, 1C: ERP Enterprise Management 2.0.
The director of the enterprise acted as the initiator of an implementation project of the ERP system.
Goals and Objectives
Within an implementation project of ERP the following objects and the tasks were set:
The purpose – automation of the main business processes of the company, increase in efficiency of use of the accounting system with the minimum terms and labor costs on implementation, and available further maintenance, updating of a system.
Are understood as the basic automated business processes:
- Portfolio management of orders
- Accounting of agreements and contractual conditions
- Management of production accounting
- Management of an inventory control
- Management of repair of a production equipment
- Conducting laboratory researches
- Accounting
- Conducting tax accounting
Tasks:
- 1. Automate accounting on all chain of production process with an opportunity in the moment to understand at what production phase there is a metal. Create the mechanism of end-to-end accounting of warehouse stocks / work in progress / finished goods online, without waiting for closing of the period at the end of the month.
- 2. Create the system of a common information space
- 3. Implement transparent accounting and tax accounting. Automate daily transactions.
- 4. Develop functionality on accounting of the Central Bank and financial liabilities taking into account monthly charges of percent and payment schedules.
Project Progress
For automation of tasks on JSC Petrostal IT- specialists JSC Kirov Plant made completion of a system. Integration of a system "is carried out 1C:ERP Enterprise management 2" with automobile scales. Including the system of uniform treasury by integration is created "1C: Bit. Finance" and "1C: ERP Enterprise Management 2". Data exchange on salary between a system BOSS-personnel officer and "1C: ERP Enterprise Management 2" is implemented.
Business process reengineering is carried out and work of staff of JSC Petrostal Steel Works is optimized. The unified information system on the 1C:Enterprise 8 platform based on "1C: ERP Enterprise Management 2" instead of an automated workplace is implemented.
Full managerial, accounting, tax accounting is implemented. Control blocks by finance, foreign trade activities (export), budgeting, management of laboratory, scrap metal purchases, management of repairs and services, personal cards of accounting of issue of SIZ are developed. 250 jobs are automated.
