At the Kaluga electromechanical plant the product lifecycle management system is implemented

On April 25, 2019 it became known that the Russian developer of the PLM solutions on the 1C: Enterprise 8.0 platform, APPIUS company, completed system implementation of product lifecycle management of Appius-PLM in JSC KEMZ. The solution is put into commercial operation.

The system implementation purpose "Appius-PLM Product lifecycle management" is increase in efficiency of design and technology divisions of the enterprise, ensuring collective work, creation of unified information environment for effective management of project development in scales of all enterprise.

At a stage of preproject inspection of the enterprise entrance conditions and requirements, the list of assigned tasks, methods of their solution and results of automation were defined. Specialists of APPIUS company performed data transfer from the system which is available at the enterprise "1C:Enterprise 8. MES Operational production management" in the Appius-PLM system. For control of terms and a status of the current works the management subsystem is actively used by projects.

Besides, the control example is developed for confirmation of complete accounting of all conditions influencing planning and production management. In each workplace setup of the software product is made. Considering wishes of users, completions are entered into the system, comments based on trial operation are taken into account. Within the project regulations, instructions, etc. are developed.

One of the most important stages of system implementation of Appius-PLM is learning process of users to the principles of its work. The competent and accurately configured learning process taking into account specifics of the enterprise is an important factor of work in a system. More than 100 designers, technologists and norm setters making 100% of users completed a full course of training, having received the implemented instrument of work.

Training of the interconnected divisions of KTPP gave positive effect. The basic that managed to be reached – understanding of the complete chain showing end-to-end passing of information within all enterprise which leads to really working PULL of strategy.
