The tasks of the project remain the same - ensuring the selection of goods for order within the trading room and the implementation of the full cycle of logistics processes of the online store. WMS is also integrated with a corporate system containing product data, with a store site and with cash systems.

Since the launch solution and algorithms have already been repeatedly tested, the next replication - from deploying the base on the test circuit to testing on the product circuit and training employees - has passed quickly. The AXELOT-enabled solution itself took one day to launch. The development and replication of the system continues.

2021: Replication of WMS in Globe hypermarkets

In 2018, the company launched an online store. The basis was the principle of the "dark store" open type, where instead of a separate warehouse for collecting online orders, a hypermarket trading room with products located there was used directly. To automate the logistics processes of the new online store, a WMS system developed by AXELOT was introduced. The pilot project was implemented in the Globus hypermarket in Krasnogorsk.

After the completion of the pilot project, cooperation with AXELOT was continued within the framework of the development agreement - a number of improvements were implemented during the setting of new tasks from the customer. Due to the fact that the implemented system has proved its effectiveness, the management of the Globus hypermarket network initiated a project to replicate the solution in other hypermarkets.

In early 2020, a project was launched to replicate WMS in the Globus hypermarket in Pushkin. A distinctive feature of this hypermarket is the presence of a separate specially equipped parking for self-pickup of orders. In the parking lot, special terminals are installed where the buyer can fix his data for initiating the order, after which information is received by the employees of the point of issue, who process the order and bring it to the buyer directly to the parking lot. Delivery of products with a courier is also available to customers.

Otherwise, the tasks of the project were the same as in the framework of the pilot project - ensuring the selection of goods for order within the trading room and the implementation of a full cycle of logistics processes of the online store. All these tasks have been fully implemented. WMS was also integrated with a corporate system containing product data, with a store site and with cash systems.

Almost in parallel with the project in Pushkin, the replication of the WMS system was carried out in the Globus hypermarket in Klimovsk. The tasks of the project and the work performed are completely identical. As a result, even more buyers of the Globe network were able to simply and promptly issue orders online and receive them (personally or with a courier) at a convenient time.

In addition, the project team as soon as possible carried out the "minitraining" of WMS in four more stores of the network - in Odintsovo, Korolev, Kotelniki and in the area of ​ ​ the village of Salaryevo.

Work on the development of WMS and replication of the system in other hypermarkets continues.

2018

In March 2018, Axelot announced that it had implemented 1C: WMS Logistics. Warehouse management in Globus.

According to the company, as a result of the project, a full-fledged online store was launched as part of the hypermarket trading room. After automation, the technological processes of the online store began to look like this. Selection of goods, order and cluster, is carried out from the entire area of ​ ​ the trading room. The goods are selected by piece, by weight, or by piece, taking into account the weight. When collecting orders, the requirements for the product neighborhood are taken into account. At the same time, commodity groups are divided into zones, including temperature ones.

The processes of goods movement within the zone of finished orders are automated, as well as the process of goods transfer to the zone of issue. When packing an item, the selected orders are selectively monitored. The workplace for issuing orders to buyers has been implemented. Automated 4 stationary and 10 mobile workplaces. WMS was integrated with the corporate information system, from which information about goods comes, as well as with the website of the online store and with the cash terminal.
