XRHCount with AdoDat 5000 (scanner of goods)

2019: Announcement

At the beginning of May, 2019 MODI Modular Digits and Visiconsult X-ray Systems & Solutions presented the joint solution for completely automated recognition of labels and calculation of components when checking finished products using x-ray emission.

For creation of this tool of the company integrated the developments. In addition to the general inspection tasks VisiConsult specializes in contactless calculation of the SMD components and automatic recognition of defects – integrates these functions in the XRHCount sebeii-tool. He uses x-ray technology for acceleration process of calculation of components and cost reduction of time more than for 95%. A system is expected the round-the-clock continuous operation and is already used on a number of production facilities worldwide.

With XRHCount the scanner developed by MODI company for goods acceptance of AdoDat 5000 which reads out barcodes/codes of a data matrix from the arriving products was integrated, stores information and monitors all further processing of data. The patented technology of the cameras ADOMO is the cornerstone of a system. At the same time the rejecting mirror, the concentrating all possibilities of the camera on a recognizable tag is used. Information from the label is read out and recognized within 1-2 seconds.

Integration of XRHCount into the scanner of MODI company replaces manual entry of data, thereby preventing errors. The new tool allows to read out codes and text information from labels, to compare them to the available database and to save together with images and a unique identifier. Use of the integrated technologies significantly reduces the costs connected with incorrectly identified components, provides complete traceability of a chain of deliveries and quality control and also increases reliability of process.^[1]
