The next 100 pensioners mastered "the Alphabet of the Internet-2019" from Rostelecom

On May 8, 2019 the Rostelecom company reported that "The alphabet of the Internet" handed to the first in 2019 graduates of computer courses of the senior generation manuals and certificates on training. Within the agreement of the Pension Fund of the Russian Federation and PJSC Rostelecom more than 100 Stavropol pensioners purchased skills of net surfing.

From the moment of start of the project in 2014 more than 1500 pensioners in Stavropol Krai were already trained according to the Alphabet of the Internet program and now can freely be guided on open spaces of a global network. Our graduates already receive the public and municipal services in electronic form, pay utility payments, order drugs, communicate with friends through social networks and messengers. Classes on computer literacy for pensioners are in Stavropol Krai on a regular basis. Training is conducted on a specialized educational benefit Alphabet of the Internet which acquaints participants of a rate with the computer device, rules of work with text files, video and audiomaterials, photos, learns to communicate in social networks.

The training benefit and the Internet portal "Alphabet of the Internet" are developed within the Agreement between PJSC Rostelecom and the Pension Fund of the Russian Federation on cooperation signed on January 22, 2014 when training pensioners of computer literacy. A project objective — simplification of access for pensioners to receiving public services in electronic form on the Internet and quality improvement of life.
