IBM Business Transactional Intelligence

2019: Announcement

At the Gartner Supply Chain Executive Summit conference in Phoenix (the State of Arizona, the USA) in the middle of May, 2019 IBM submitted the software intended for supply chain management by means of algorithms of machine learning.

Service under the name Business Transactional Intelligence is started based on the cognitive Watson system which will help the companies to reveal the anomalies which are potentially menacing to normal work to the channel of partner interaction.

Business Transactional Intelligence uses machine learning for studying of a data set, including amount, value and speed of flows. For this purpose algorithms process all documentation and transactions in a supply channel. Using the analyzed data, the solution learns to reveal patterns on the basis of which will be able to offer options for optimization or to send to the client warning in case of detection of deviations.

IBM started service which through Watson looks for problem links in supply chains

You can look for and browse all lifecycle of transaction in real time and in the contextual plan and also receive detailing to see details of specific transaction. Compare information between tens of data points of each transaction to receive detailed visualization of business operation. You can penetrate into all process of order fulfillment or payment of purchase, having received a detailed information including about the hidden orders, deliveries and receiving.

Business Transactional Intelligence became a part of network on supply chain management of IBM Supply Chain Business Network which creates digital communications between suppliers and partners. When the organization is connected to network, all its documents are digitized and systematized that search algorithms could work with data and also create the visual card of efficiency of process of the transaction.^[1]
