1C-IzhTC optimizes 1C base in Qiwi

The network of provider of payment and financial services QIWI includes more than 20.8 million virtual wallets and more than 143,000 terminals and points of payment acceptance. Service allows clients to work both with cash, and with a huge number of non-cash methods of calculation for payment of goods and services or implementation of money transfers. At the same time there is an opportunity to use online and offline payment instruments.

In the activity the organization uses a number of products 1C, including the 1C: Manufacturing Enterprise Management 1.3 configuration. For years of work in information base of the company the large volume of data collected that negatively affected responsiveness of a system. For elimination of problems with performance it was decided to carry out convolution of base.

The task was entrusted to specialists by 1C-IzhTC which earlier perfectly proved in cooperation with QIWI when updating non-standard solutions 1C.

During the project specialists of the contractor executed all test transactions on the party that allowed to avoid possible errors in working base. Direct convolution of working base managed to be laid in one day. The day off therefore it was not necessary to stop work of employees became the choice of time. By result the amount of base was reduced from 239.5 GB to 183 GB. Convolution of the database in which activity is conducted since 2008 took only 18 hours.
