On May 27, 2019 the Axis Communications company provided the network AXIS A8207-VE network Video Door Station video on-door speakerphone which combines in one device of function of security video surveillance, bidirectional coupling and access control. Open interfaces of the on-door speakerphone allow integration into other solutions and devices. According to the producer, the AXIS A8207-VE video on-door speakerphone is suitable for installation on inputs where regularly there pass people, for example, of the check point of protected areas or warehouse.

According to the statement of the producer, the AXIS A8207-VE video on-door speakerphone provides high-quality bidirectional coupling between personnel and all visitors using functions of suppression of noise and an induction circuit for hearing aids and also elimination of an echo.

The device is also equipped with the built-in radio-frequency reader for access control of employees (RFID) which allows to exercise remote control of an input of visitors from the computer, stationary phone or the mobile device. A system works as the card reader and PIN codes for check at an input of employees and other authorized persons without the need for additional actions. Unknown visitors can use a keyboard panel of the on-door speakerphone to call a reception or to the security service specialist and to request access. Then the receiver of a call can look at the visitor, talk to it and open a door directly itself or far off from the mobile phone, IP phone or from video management system.

As noted in Axis Communications, a system offers ample opportunities for network video surveillance thanks to the built-in full-function security camera with the resolution of 6 Megapixels and modern technologies, including broad dynamic range, support of Axis Zipstream and ACAP for the intellectual analysis of images. The video on-door speakerphone is equipped with the multifunction passive IR sensor (PIR) which detects the approaching people, and then starts record of the camera or an oral greeting. It is possible to integrate means of audioanalytics which will include sound warnings or record in case of detection of sounds of shots or aggressive behavior into a system. Besides, the built-in sensors of detection of unauthorized access can initiate necessary actions if someone will try to crack the device physically.
