On May 27, 2019 the Advanta Consulting company reported that "The Khabarovsk edge institute of development of a system of professional education" implemented a management system for educational projects.
Project approach is a type of management in which the management of Institute sees high potential for development. The institute aims to make projects more effective and profitable. For this purpose in structure of the organization the project office was organized, the methodology of project management is developed and the automated control system for projects based on the ADVANTA platform is implemented.

- Transition to qualitatively other level of project management
- Compliance of a trend of use of project approach in state agencies

- Implement approach to work on result
- Provide control of deviations on terms of project implementation and impact of changes on projects
- Differentiate project and operational activity of Institute
- Define accurate areas of responsibility of contractors for contents and project deadlines
- Provide to the management an opportunity to make timely and exact decisions on projects
Results:
- Projects are organized on structure of portfolios, the universal profile of projects is defined.
- The control technique on control points is applied. 2 KT levels are entered.
- Automatic mailing of a uniform form of collecting of actual data is configured.
- Processes of approval of data are configured.
- Templates of standard fragments of the project network are developed.
- 6 report types are configured: road maps, the report on project portfolios, the report with indication of deviations on terms, reports on performing discipline, finance, problems of projects.
- The mechanism of escalation of problems in projects from contractors is implemented.
- The zone for operating activities is selected (on the example of project office).
- Regular meetings on the project status and portfolio on the basis of data from the ADVANTA system are held.
- Training of participants of project activity in work in a system is provided.
- Training in goal-setting in SMART, control technique in KT, bases of network planning for the staff of project office is provided.
"Automation of project management set the following tasks – to implement project thinking and a project management system for our organization to initiate and implement projects according to the international and Russian standards of project management. To system implementation of ADVANTA there was no uniform operational coordination of projects of Institute regarding uniformity of initiation of projects and efficiency of control – there were not enough resources of staff of project office for this purpose. According to the results of the software project works not only for needs of Institute, but also in general for the system of professional education of Khabarovsk Krai, besides, on its base 5 own projects are implemented. A system automated process of collecting of control project information: it concerns terms, making changes, a uniform form of the project charter and the mechanism of initiation. We implemented a uniform form of the project charter, began to otsmartovyvat the purposes, project deliverables, to trace how many resources spent for implementation and that was received as a result. Before similar indicators considered very in less detail, without making changes in the project progress. To the staff of project office and staff of Institute began to work with system implementation more simply and more conveniently. The system of collecting of the reporting and problem definition according to the large projects implemented not by one structural division is automated".
