2017: Expansion of use of functionality of the Vitro-CAD system

From February to August, 2017 works on expansion of use of functionality of the Vitro-CAD system in Mostinzhservice company were continued.

The following objects were set:

  • reduce terms of release of the design estimates,
  • increase quality of technology and design documentation regarding approval of the design and estimate documentation, office-work and management of contract activities.

In the project progress the following tasks were solved:

  • The main objectives on creation and storage of different types of electronic documents are carried out,
  • The opportunity of flexible management by versions and the statuses of documents, automatic filling of metadata of documents, creation of a hierarchical structure of documents other is given.
  • Actions for document handling and their automatic distribution according to business processes of the enterprise are automated.
  • The possibility of control of a route of documents with fixing of time of consideration, a possibility of involvement of additional contractors and appointments of deputies, a possibility of sending a task for reconsideration with the notification on corporate e-mail of the organization, to formation of different reports, etc. is implemented.
  • Automatic formatting of ciphers of the project and work documentation, based on project folder structure.
  • Creation of templates of structures of projects and text documents, etc.

Project Results:

  • Ensuring basis for formation of unified information environment for automation of processing of the design estimates at all stages of projects – from design before commissioning.
  • Reduction of terms and labor costs of design.
  • Providing online access of specialists of all levels to up-to-date information of archive of the design estimates with a possibility of quick search.
  • Establishment of regulations of work with documents and reduction of time for obtaining notes from specialists of different levels and a profile.
  • Full control over terms, a status and the movement of documents and also over performing discipline.
  • Reduction of dependence on individual technology experience of personnel and data to zero losses caused by manual processing of paper documents.
  • Ensuring effective work with the design estimates in the conditions of geographically distributed structure of the Company.
  • Exception of the risks connected with damage and loss of paper copies of documents.
  • Cost reduction on printing, non-productive costs and a response time on changes in documentation;

Users of a system completed a training course and received the corresponding instructions that allowed them to get to work with a system right after the beginning of its use.

Planning and control of execution of plans for projects

Implementation of the module Vitro Planner intended for planning and control of execution of plans for projects became the next stage of the project. Work is conducted to implement the following tasks:

  • Issue of tasks to adjacent specialties and decomposition of tasks to contractors.
  • Control over failures to meet time constraints of the project, specified in the agreement with the Customer.
  • Reminders and notifications about terms of the beginning and completion of works according to the plan.
  • The current information on a situation on the project in one table online.
  • Demonstration of responsible and the reasons of delays in development process.
  • Information access from any place at any time and ease of use.
