2019: Announcement of a line of industrial computers

On June 11, 2019 the company Rostec reported that Avtomatika concern developed and brought to the market industrial computers and modules based on processors "Elbrus" and MCST- R. The line of this equipment is intended for management systems for production processes at the enterprises. Use of domestic element base allows to use the equipment on objects with high requirements to information security.

According to the company, the project is implemented Institute of electronic managing machines of I.S. Brook (enters into Avtomatika concern) at joint financing Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation. The line includes six industrial computers and modules of a different form factor and degree of security.

Computers are executed on two domestic architecture of microprocessors at once: Elbrus and MCST-R. The equipment is intended for creation of automated process control systems in different industries and also power engineering specialists and transport infrastructure.

The PK-2 computer uses the Elbrus-1C + microprocessor with the built-in graphic controller. The model is executed in the shock-resistant, protected from dust and moisture body with conductive heat extraction from all elements of a system. The lack of moving parts and fans increases service life of the equipment and simplifies its service. In the similar body with degree of protection of IP-65 the industrial computer PK-1 based on the microprocessor of MCST R1000 is executed.

PK-3 model with the Elbrus-1C + microprocessor is produced in the bezventilyatorny body and is intended for application in premises.

All three modifications can be applied as managing computer systems of upper and average levels, data transfer gateways, to equipment of jobs of operators and managers.

Besides, the line includes the modules MP-16.2 and MP-18 based on the Elbrus-1C + microprocessor. The first model is used in the industrial computer PK-3 and is the separate computing module intended including for embedding in hardware-software complexes as the controller of the top level. Operational and long-term memory and also other elements are unsoldered on a payment thanks to what MP-16.2 differs in compactness and resistance to vibration influences. The module of the MP-18 processor is suitable for integration into already existing solutions with support of a form factor of COM Expresstype 6. PLK-1 programmable logic controller based on microprocessors "Elbrus-1C +" intended for management of industrial equipment. It contains two processor modules capable to work in the duplication mode that provides high reliability and facilitates repair and service.

All models of industrial computers and controllers work under control of real-time operating system Elbrus.
