2019: Connection of 15 medical organizations to RLIS of Altai Republic

The Rostelecom company in partnership with BARS GROUP, subsidiary company of the National Center of Informatization, connected 15 medical organizations to the regional laboratory information system (RLIS) of Altai Republic.

Within implementation works on connection and setup of interaction with a PIM of 51 laboratory analyzers are carried out, automated business processes barcodings (markings and reading of samples of biomaterials), integration of a PIM and regional medical information system (RMIS) is configured. In the fourth quarter 2018 from RLIS more than 160 thousand results of laboratory researches is transferred to RMIS.

A laboratory system automates the main business processes of laboratory and diagnostic departments: the direction on analyses, carrying out laboratory researches, transfer of results in the electronic medical record of the patient and also exchange of results of researches between the medical organizations and doctors. It also provides minimization of errors, performance improvement, decrease in time of obtaining results by patients.

Transfer of processes of the medical organizations to a digital circuit has a positive impact on quality the provided medical care and health of citizens. In addition to RLIS, in the field of health care of the region 3 more electronic services of development of BARS GROUP company work: "Service of emergency medical service", "Financial and economic activity" and "Monitoring of health care" — the associate director on informatization of BUZ of RA "Medical Information and Analytical Center" of Ayan Chaptynov noted.

According to BARS GROUP, these electronic services are used more than in 20 medical organizations of the region and allow to control industry indicators, to create consolidated statements at the regional and federal levels. "Service of emergency medical service" covers all medical organizations in the republic having crews of ambulance. By means of Monitoring of Health Care service in 2018 unloading of data of federal statistical reporting in the information system "Medstat" was provided (Moscow).
