On June 24, 2019 Magnitogorsk Iron and Steel Works announced start in commercial operation of a digital control system for existence of cars in two sheet-rolling workshops of plant. MMP-Informservice acted as the general contractor of works on system implementation of control of existence of cars.
As expected, the implemented solution will allow to reveal quickly violations in work with the rolling stock and will increase efficiency of shipments of products of the enterprise.
In workshops the video surveillance equipment, a software and hardware complex for recognition of numbers of cars, direction findings of their movement and existence of a load in cars is installed. A system is also integrated with automated systems of the enterprise.
In 2019-2020 MMK is going to develop systems in other sheet-rolling rolling shops.
