2020: The presentation of the upgraded headset for a talk under IVA S/W water

On November 5, 2020 the Avtomatika concern provided to State Corporation Rostec the upgraded mobile radio station for underwater communication. The next version has the reduced weight, allows to communicate and transfer data under water at distance to 150 meters. At the same time the signal can pass through border of the water-ice-air environments. The pilot batch is going to be produced at the beginning of the next year.

Use of IVA S/W is the joint solution of JSC Kalugapribor entering into Avtomatika Concern, and Haytek companies. The device allows to organize communication in interface layers of water, in the conditions of hydroacoustic noises and also in the presence of such obstacles in a signal propagation path as seaweed, artificial and natural barriers. Sending range of a signal does not depend on nervousness of water, change of its temperature, undercurrents.

The presented solution can carry out any tasks for which the stable voice communication under water is necessary. The mobile radio station of wireless underwater communication can be used both by intelligence agencies of the Russian Federation, and the research organizations and commercial structures researching the underwater environment. Now the industrial sample of a product which passes tests in the Barents Sea is created. The pilot batch is going to be produced until the end of the first quarter 2021,

The main modules of underwater radio station are the transceiver, the antenna, a full-front mask with the headset of communication and controllers of management of communication. The mask has standard connectors for connection to air hoses. Bonding wires and the general dimensions of radio station allow to place conveniently its modules on an aqualung thanks to what the diver at the movement in water does not test noises. In addition for maintenance of diving group from a surface the version of the surface headset of communication is used. At upgrade of the device was decided to refuse a separate press-to-talk button – the button of switching of acceptance/transfer to advantage of placement of the headset, more convenient for the diver, on a full-front diving mask.

2019: Representation of a mobile radio complex of wireless underwater communication of IVA S/W

On June 25, 2019 the Avtomatika concern presented the solution - the Mobile radio complex of wireless underwater communication of IVA S/W. For June, 2019 development is at a stage of carrying out pilot tests, and further is planned to certification and serial production at the enterprise of Avtomatika Concern of JSC Kalugapribor.

The complex is the joint solution of Kalugapribor and the Haytek company which developed technology of information transfer and voice data in sea and sweet water and also through limit of the section of environments (water-air). The solution provides uninterrupted communication between underwater and surface subscribers.

Basic elements of a complex are the block of the transceiver with hydroacoustic and electromagnetic antennas, the full-front mask with the headset of communication and the charger.

The mask has standard connectors for connection to air hoses. The modes acceptance/transfer are switched by the button on a hand of the diver (swimmer). Bonding wires and the general dimensions of radio station allow to place conveniently its modules on an aqualung that does not create noises for the movement of the diver in water.

The complex performs voice transmission and data on distance to 500 meters under water and also has the additional antenna for data transmission through border of environments (water-ice-air). The solution allows to organize communication, both in interface layers of water, and in a coastal zone in the conditions of external noises and noise and also to bypass obstacles for distribution of a signal. Range of communication does not depend on hydrological not uniformity.

The mobile radio station can be used both by intelligence agencies RUSSIAN FEDERATION, and the business companies and other structures researching the shelf and investigation of fields minerals under water. The mobile radio station of wireless underwater communication can be also applied in the course of mastering of the Arctic, monitoring of a situation in coastal zones, service of fixed underwater constructions, prevention and prevention of emergencies in water areas oil/gas production, in development underwater pilotless devices, the organizations of a voice communication in prospecting group of divers, including deep-water.

This complex is intended for accomplishment of any tasks requiring existence of a stable voice communication under water. For June, 2019 deliveries of this solution to the interested structures of the VTR, Engineering troops, the National Guard of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Emergency Situations and a number of the enterprises of the industry are already considered.
