2019: End of the first stage of field tests of the RLK model of landing of aircraft
On June 26, 2019 the RTI company reported that JSC NPK NIIDAR (NIIDAR) also the first stage of field tests of the model a radar complex (RLK) of landing of aircraft of the modular Yauza type completed development. Development is focused on airfields of different function, including on airfields of small aircraft. Extensive temperature range of work will allow to equip the airfields and the airports located about a polar circle and in regions with the hot climate provided to RLK.
The developed RLK is intended for control of air traffic in near field region of airfield and also landing of aircrafts. The complex will allow to detect air objects in an area of responsibility, to accompany and estimate their trajectory, parameters of the movement and maneuvers. It will be capable to measure an aircraft provision deviation from the line of a glide path in the sector of landing and to quickly transfer information to a command dispatcher station and also to display information on all accompanied aircrafts. Thanks to the put temperature limits, equipment of radar station of a set of the airports located in northern and southern regions including with a difficult landscape is possible that will contribute to the development of small aircraft.

Use of RLK "Yauza" in aircraft will allow to provide a set of the small regional airports and runways with the reliable system of landing and control of the next airspace. The technologies put in RLK will allow to create the effective remedy of control of airspace providing, including detection of drones, and protection of important objects, such as NPP and their floating option, HEPS, gas transmission hubs, etc. The radar Yauza complex will be capable to provide continued round-the-clock operation at the minimum service and low cost of operation.
