2019: Announcement of a 5G of Super Uplink

On July 2, 2019 the Huawei company announced release together with China Telecom of solution 5G Super Uplink.

According to the company, solution 5G of Super Uplink of China Telecom and Huawei implements domain aggregation on time/frequency of TDD and FDD in the ascending frequency band. Thanks to it the solution will be able to increase the ascending NR resources, to increase 5G network power, to reduce a delay and to improve utilization coefficient of the ascending range of 2.1 GHz / 1.8 GHz. Within start the pilot version of Super Uplink was submitted. Test results showed that transmission rate 5G UE in the center of cell was increased by 20–60%, transmission rate 5G UE on border of cell grew by 2–4 times, and the delay in the air interface decreased by 30%. Besides, services URLLC were included.

Offer China Telecom together with Huawei technology 5G with TDD/FDD coordination, addition of high/low frequencies and domain aggregation for time/frequency. This solution will allow to increase the speed of the ascending data transmission and to reduce a delay that will open the mass of opportunities for development of applications for the vertical industries.
