Sbcloud transferred Iconfood to "a cloud for the server"

On July 8, 2019 the Sbcloud company reported that it transferred Iconfood to "a cloud for the server".

According to the company, in any company there comes the moment when own IT infrastructure begins to manage too expensive. And in Sbcloud found the solution which can suit all: announced an action "Cloud -for server".

The task consisted to help customers to pass into a cloud quickly, without financial investments and cares of utilization of the servers.

The idea of an action was tested on several customers Sbcloud. For example, restaurant holding Iconfood which includes such cafes and restaurants as restaurant of a modern gastronomy Black Market, Corner Burger bar restaurant, meat restaurant Corner Grill and udckafe network. The company had large volume of the server park which support required more and more efforts of IT department. And perspectives were even more gloomy: the vendor announced that support of some servers will soon stop as models outdated.

Specialists Sbcloud undertook all cycle of works on transfer of IT infrastructure restaurant Iconfood holding in a cloud: from audit of the current IT architecture before utilization of outdated servers.

The Preseyl-department Sbcloud studied the developed IT architecture of the customer in detail; carried out basic calculations for configurations and necessary volume of cloud resources; carried out value assessment of the server hardware of the customer; on the basis of data retrieveds prepared the plan of transition to a cloud.

Under the terms of the stock "Cloud — for the Server" the provider could redeem the equipment or provide to the customer the volume of resources equivalent to the cost of servers. Iconfood holding selected the second option and thanks to it had an opportunity to pass into a cloud almost free of charge.
