Infotecs connected the Government of the Republic of Tyva to the State system of detection, prevention and elimination of consequences of computer attacks system

On July 11, 2019 the Infotecs group reported connection of the Republic of Tyva to the State detection system, warnings and mitigations of consequences of the computer attacks (State system of detection, prevention and elimination of consequences of computer attacks). This first connection of the subject of the Russian Federation through the third-party center State system of detection, prevention and elimination of consequences of computer attacks using technical infrastructure of the National coordination center for computer incidents (NKTsKI).

For July, 2019 information resources of key public authorities, such as are connected to a system: Administration of the Head of the Republic of Tyva and Government Office of the Republic of Tyva; Ministries of Finance, economies, justices; The Ministry of regulation of the contract sphere in the field of purchases of the Republic of Tyva; Administration of the Government of the Republic of Tyva and Agency on foreign economic relations of the Republic of Tyva. In line to connection to State system of detection, prevention and elimination of consequences of computer attacks – the Ministry of informatization and communication of the Republic of Tyva, the Center of information technologies of the Republic of Tyva and also some other the regional ministries and departments.

Consolidation of networks of the ministries and departments of Tyva in a single network of data transmission with one connection point to networks of the international exchange was made for implementation of a task by the customer. Traffic from network edge is mirrored and analyzed by the sensor of the ViPNet IDS NS sensor of invasions (SI). For collecting and information analysis ViPNet TIAS HSS is used. Information on incidents is analyzed in the State system of detection, prevention and elimination of consequences of computer attacks Center of Perspective Monitoring company (enters into Infotecs Group) and transferred to the State system of detection, prevention and elimination of consequences of computer attacks system through technical infrastructure of NKTsKI.

Having implemented these solutions, Management of data protection of Administration of the Head of the Republic and Government Office fulfilled the requirements of Federal law N 187-FZ regarding connection of subjects of KII to State system of detection, prevention and elimination of consequences of computer attacks. Thanks to the implemented connection in Tyva it was succeeded to create the departmental center of monitoring of incidents of information security – for July, 2019 the staff of Management of data protection of Administration of the Head of the Republic of Tyva can timely react to incidents at once of several information resources of republican public authorities. In creation of the departmental center also active part was taken by specialists of Gran Bezopasnosti Group, leading integrator of information security systems in the region.
